Environmental Allergies

Environmental Allergies occur as a result of contact with things outside the body and surrounding us in the environment. The increase in pollution of our air, use of pesticides, exhaust fumes, chemicals, and radioactivity are all contributors to allergies.

Exposure to poisonous plants such as poison oak and poison sumac also contribute to the list of environmental allergens. Other plants, cosmetics, jewelry, and rubber are also associated with allergies in some people. Viruses, fungus, and bacteria can also cause reactions in some people.
