Chronic Disease
Chronic Disease occurs when the immune system is compromised and does not deal effectively with acute illness. An acute illness is one which has a beginning and healing process and an end. In chronic disease the end does not come.
The individual is subjected to the debilitating symptoms day after day. When the immune system is impaired by repeated stress or allergies, it begins to lose its effectiveness and the individual suffers the loss of good health.
Chronic disease can be in the form of asthma, emphysema, digestive disorders, arthritis, cancers, or anything that places the individual in a chronically unhealthy state.
