Men’s Fertility Enhancement

Approximately 15% of the population is unable to conceive. Male factors are accountable for 40 -50% of couples diagnosed as infertile and one in four couples has multiple factors contributing to their inability to get pregnant.

Male fertility depends upon 1)adequate production of spermatozoa by the testes, 2)unobstructed transit of sperm through the seminal tract, and 3) satisfactory delivery to the ovum.

In 40% of cases of male infertility, sperm abnormalities are either a factor or the factor in the condition. In certain couples, antisperm antibodies also may be a factor in reduced fertility. Male infertility factors are easier to diagnose with Western methods than female infertility, but often harder to treat.

Traditional Chinese Medicine improves the quality and quantity of the sperm and improves the overall quality of the semen, some mechanical blockages can be reduced and hormonal factors can be resolved which in turn increases the chances of creating a healthy embryo.

Many environmental and dietary factors are hostile to healthy sperm production, by addressing specific elements of diet & lifestyle while employing acupuncture and herbal therapy can markedly affect overall health restoring balance to the entire body.

It is very beneficial that treatment begin at least three months prior to conception naturally or with ART due to the sperm maturation period of 70 -90 days. During that time all aspects of a man’s health profile will be addressed and balanced.
